Welcome to the Physical Education Unit of Eastern University, Sri Lanka
Sports Facilities are available at the main campus at vantharumoolai. There are two bodies, which are set up to promote sports activities at the university.
VISION
To socialize a law- abiding and socially productive graduate, with the ability of effective leadership qualities and fair decision making, who is physically and mentally well balance
MISSION
To produce an active and healthy generation with theoretically knowledge and practical activities of physical education

Senior National Basketball Championship
The Senior National Basketball Championship is a national event in which all the District Clubs' Basketball teams take part to win the title. Three players from EUSL were selected for Sri Lanka National Universities Women team.

This Department is responsible for the organization and administration of Physical Education and recreational programmers of the University.The sports activities are promoted by the Sports Council and Sports Advisory Board, the Department provides facilities for various games
