Entry Requirements:

1. Passed G.C.E (A/L) in Commerce stream and qualified to enter the university system in Sri Lanka *.

OR

2. Passed in G.C.E (A/L) in any other stream and qualified to enter the university system in Sri Lanka *.

OR

3. Obtained a professional qualification in any one of the following:
   1. National Certificate for Accounting Technicians awarded by the Department of Technical Education and Training, Sri Lanka
   2. National Certificate in Marketing awarded by the Department of Technical Education and Training, Sri Lanka.
   3. National Certificate in Business Studies awarded by the Department of Technical Education and Training, Sri Lanka.
   4. The Vocational (Special) Teachers' Certificate awarded by the Department of Education, Sri Lanka.
   5. Passed first and second examinations of the Course leading to the Higher National Diploma in Accountancy conducted by Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education.
   6. Passed first and second examinations of the Course leading to the Higher National Diploma in Business Administration, Business Finance and Management conducted by Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education.
   7. Passed first and second examinations conducted by Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) or the Association of Certified and Corporate Accountants (ACCA).
   8. Passed the intermediate examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.
   9. Passed the final examination of the Sri Lanka Bankers' Institute.
   10. Passed the Advanced National Diploma in Management of the Open University of Sri Lanka.
   11. The Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka.

OR

4. Other recognized academic/professional/vocational qualifications which will be accepted by the Senate, Eastern University, Sri Lanka (EUSL).

* Note:

• - Students those who sat G.C.E (A/L) Examination in the year of 2019 and before.
• - Minimum qualification to enter the university system in Sri Lanka:
  1. At least “S” Grade in all three approved subjects in one sitting within a maximum of three attempts

  AND

  2. A minimum mark of 30% for the common general paper.

Selection Procedures:

Priority shall be given to the applicants from the first category of the entry requirement and merit of academic performance.

Application Procedure:  

A candidate should apply online from the web site http://www.cedec.esn.ac.lk/bbm and upload the scanned copies of relevant documents and University Copy of Paying-in-Voucher, amounted of Rs.1,000.00 payable to Bursar, EUSL, Account No. 227-1-001-9-0000-390 in People’s Bank, Chenkalady.

Paying-in-voucher can be obtained by downloading from http://www.cedec.esn.ac.lk/bbm

The candidate should also send printed application form (sent to your email from CEDEC online system after applying online) along with the copies of relevant documents and customer copy of deposit slip, by post. Mention as “Bachelor of Business Management (BBM) - 2021” on the upper left corner of the envelope.
